The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is one of the three campaigns that the United Way of Tyler/Smith County oversees. The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the Federal workplace on behalf of charitable organizations. This includes the local Post Offices, Social Security, U.S. District Offices and the F.B.I.

We are responsible for organizing and maintaining the CFC campaign, handling the monies collected
and maintaining financial records. The LFCC committee (Local Federal Coordinating Committee) consists of a representative from each of the local federal offices plus representatives from the local and surrounding post offices.
Since this is a designation campaign, everyone who donates to the CFC must designate where they want their money to go. We distribute the money according to those designations. The CFC campaign is conducted for one (1) 6-week period, usually between September 1st and December 15th.
